i was out of town for the weekend without my laptop, when i got the news.  i would have liked to post this friday in honor of MCA, always my favorite beastie boy.  i listened to the first 4 records countless times from junior high to present, and at one point remember agreeing with my friends that you could put the beasties on at any party and it would not only be appropriate, but everybody would be totally into it.  check your head may be my favorite record, so here’s pass the mic…RIP MCA, you entertained and influenced a lot of people in the past 25 years, thanks for the music.
